Our Commitment: Pioneering Compassionate Healthcare for All

We are a team of medical professionals, doctors, nurse-practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, cardiopulmonary technologists and humanitarians who believe that healthcare is a fundamental human right.

GACC’s dedicated team and supporting physicians in The Gambia as well as in The United States, well before the founding of this nonprofit organization, have been doing medical missions to The Gambia and other underdeveloped communities around the world. Providing care and educating the communities where we serve about healthy lifestyles and disease prevention, is what we do!

Access to a board certified doctor is a cornerstone of GACC’s care model, that is why we are providing TeleHealth Solutions to our clients, to give them the best care possible: Experienced, board-certified doctors on-demand, who can provide residents with virtual medical evaluations in urgent and emergency situations. Our goal is to prevent unnecessary transfers with ambulance rides, waiting in emergency rooms, and extra expenses. Medical exams will be performed “in-facility” as much as possible, where patients can remain comfortable in a familiar environment.

When a patient has an urgent medical need, the nurse simply calls one of our round-the-clock hospitalists. When a virtual evaluation is necessary, doctors connect to the staff and the patient by high-definition audio and video.

The doctors guide staff through an examination, assessing patients with a 12-lead ECG, virtual stethoscope, and many other tools. TeleHealth Solutions doctors can order additional labs and tests to reach a proper diagnosis, treating many medical conditions without a trip to the Emergency Room.

Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goal We Seek To Solve

The UN Sustainable Development for Global Goals were created with businesses in mind, providing a path – what some people refer to as a “Pathway for Humanity'' — for a small nonprofit organization like ours, Asking ourself: “is the world a better place because of our business”? Finding something on the diverse list of Sustainable Development Goals to work toward to harness our collective power by directing our combined efforts toward specific global objectives, is something that adds universal value and gives more purpose to our mission.
